Citrus Heritage Run

Details:The Citrus Heritage Runis a Half Marathon, 10K, 5K, and 1-mile kids race on Saturday, January 6, 2024. This unique and “sweet-smelling” course winds through the historic orange groves of the California Citrus State Historic Park in Riverside, CA.

As one of the most scenic course routes in Southern California, you will experience breathtaking views of surrounding mountain ranges and skyline as you inhale the smell of sweet citrus and orange blossoms beginning to bloom. This race is truly one-of-a-kind!

This event is a great tune-up race for 2024. We offer high-quality tech-fabric long-sleeve tees in men’s, women’s, and youth sizes, finisher medals and age group awards. Along the course, you will find entertainment (live bands) and several hydration stops. At the finish line, you will be greeted with music by live bands and post-race refreshments which include freshly squeezed orange juice from a local orange grove, as well as hot food, a celebratory beer and hand-crafted Mimosas!

"Do you love dinosaurs? Passionate about nature? How about reptiles? Volunteer with the Jurupa Mountains Discovery Center! We are seeking individuals from all walks of life to discover the opportunities found at JMDC. Volunteers can be found guiding explorers on learning expeditions through JMDC’s exhibits, gardens, animals, and more. Volunteer Training starts at 9:30 am and ends at 2:30 pm.
